We build up the Bride of Christ through…
We’re Nathan and Hannah Sanchez, and we are passionate about building an awakened, faith-filled community here at Covenant. Nathan has served in ministry for over 11 years and is dedicated to leading people deeper in their relationship with Jesus. Raised in California and ordained in the Assemblies of God, he holds both a Bachelor’s in Ministry and a Master’s in Bible and Theology from Northwest University. Hannah serves on the worship team and brings her heart for faith and community to Covenant. Together, we are dedicated to building a vibrant church family rooted in biblical teaching, discipleship, and passionate worship.
When we’re not at church, we love spending time with family, enjoying coffee at local spots, and exploring the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Whether you're new to faith or looking to grow in community, we can’t wait to welcome you to Covenant and walk with you on your journey with Jesus.
There is one God, eternally existent in three persons, one in essence, and equal in divinity—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
Father: Creator of heaven and earth, omnipresent, omniscient, and omnipotent.
Son (Jesus Christ): Fully God and fully man, God incarnate on earth, born of a virgin, lived a sinless life, died on the cross as the perfect substitutionary sacrifice, rose from the dead, and is coming again to judge the living and the dead.
Holy Spirit: The Holy Spirit convicts of sin, seals and regenerates believers, dwells within them, and empowers them to be witnesses of and for the glory of God.
We believe the Bible, consisting of the Old and New Testaments, is the inspired, inerrant, and authoritative Word of God, providing guidance for all aspects of faith and life.
Fall of Man: Man was created in the image of God for a relationship with Him and the stewardship of His creation. However, through sin, humanity became separated from the Holy God. As a result, the divine Image in man is marred, and every human is stained with a sinful nature.
Forgiveness of Sins: What humanity could not achieve on its own, God accomplished through Christ. His death on the cross provides for us the forgiveness of sins, enabling us to be reconciled with God. This act of grace allows us to restore our relationship with Him resulting in a new man, freed from the bonds of sin.
Justification by Faith: Our right standing before God is by His grace alone, not of any works we may do. Through faith alone, relying solely on the finished work of Jesus by His death and resurrection. In Christ alone, by no other name are we saved nor made right before God.
Sanctification: A lifelong process of becoming more Christ-like through the work of the Holy Spirit.
Resurrection of the Body: We believe in the bodily resurrection of all believers, just as Christ was raised from the dead, to eternal life with God.
Life Everlasting: We believe in the eternal life promised to those who have faith in Christ, where believers will dwell with God forever in the New Heavens and New Earth.
We believe in one Church, the body of Christ, consisting of all believers united in one Kingdom under the Kingship of Jesus.
The local church is the expression of Christ’s body in specific communities for worship, discipleship, fellowship, and mission.
Baptism: We practice believer’s baptism by immersion, symbolizing a person’s new life in Christ.
Communion: We regularly partake in the Lord’s Supper (Communion) as a remembrance of Christ’s sacrifice and a celebration of our unity with Him and each other.
We believe in the personal, physical return of Jesus Christ to judge the living and the dead, establish His kingdom, and bring final restoration to all things.
